Our congregation is rooted in Jewish faith and tradition, and membership is open to all who are committed to learning, growing, and participating in our community with respect for our beliefs and practices. We welcome those on a journey of exploration as well as lifelong practitioners.

We believe financial hardship should never be a barrier to community. Please reach out to us confidentially at info@houseofgod.org and we will work out a flexible arrangement with you. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

After submitting your application, we typically reach out within 3–5 business days to schedule your welcome meeting. The full process from application to formal welcome usually takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the schedule of upcoming orientation sessions.

Absolutely. You can upgrade or change your membership level at any time by contacting our administrative office. Many members start at the Community level to explore before moving to Full Membership.

Yes! Our membership fees cover the entire immediate family, including children under 18 living in the household. Children have full access to all youth programs, Hebrew school, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation.

New Member Orientation is a warm, informal gathering (usually 2 hours) where you'll meet clergy, learn about our history and values, tour our facilities, and connect with other new members. It's a relaxed, welcoming experience — not a formal class.
